Well, with hobbies, I don't really have too many other consistent ones other than reading, writing, and drawing except for I guess playing games. I think you mentioned that you were surprised I was such a gamer in the server and then I denied being a gamer. But lol, I was thinking about it, and I actually am kind of more of gamer than I thought. I also play DnD with my college friends and former roommates! And online board games as they live on the other side of the country as me!

Oh, I also journal! Although it's not very organized and not really a hobby for me, more just part of my day-to-day. Mostly notetaking, thinking things through by writing it out, and ranting to myself.

My coffee shop order is typically a iced matcha latte, but I get an iced black coffee too sometimes. Or if there's some floral teas available, I'll try one of those.

“Please let us come with you!” Both Olive and Val stand by the Red Cross Clubmobile, clutching the ration bags the boys had asked them to put together. A treat of donuts and candy bars was packaged within them, the girls placing them safely next to the truck before commandeering two oversized flight suits that hung on them sloppily, the pair of them giggling all the while.

“No!” The boys were stern, yet smiling.

“Why?!” Both girls complain, hoping that making puppy eyes at their men will somehow persuade them into letting them come along for the ride to feed the Dutch.

“What if the Krauts decide against honoring the truce and we're hit with a ton of flak? What then?”

“Dougie, please!” Olive begs. “We wanna help! Look, we even dressed up!”

“I don't care how cute you look, my girl. I'll close my eyes and keep saying no if I have to.”

She gasps. “So it is working!”

“Yes,” he says, keeping to his word and squeezing his eyes shut.

Valencia does the same to Everett, pouting in order to get her way. She is also unsuccessful, Ev guffawing at her efforts to persuade him. Val walks back over to Olive with a huff, hands in the pockets of the oversized flight suit.

“We're grounded, chickie,” she sighs, her hand now out of the pocket and lighting a cigarette.

“Literally or figuratively?” Olive cackles, taking the cigarette from her friend and dragging on it.

She winks, taking the cigarette back. “Both!”

Ev and Dougie have moved aside to confer; Olive hears Dougie practically beg to have the girls go with them.

“Come on, Ev, think of how fun it'll be!”

“What won't be fun is explaining to Smokey how the best Red Cross Girls in Europe are smattered with flak holes. No, thank you. We can't, it's too dangerous. Do you really wanna put Olive at risk just for some fun? Because I sure as shit don't wanna risk it for Val.”

“Ugh, fine. You're right. You're telling them though!”

After kissing their men goodbye, hoping and praying to whoever would listen that the truce would be honored, the girls retire to their hut for a mid-afternoon nap. Val is carrying one of the bags they had packed in the truck, and pulls out one of the D-Bars.

“You know, Ol, the whole time you've been here, I've never seen you eat a candy bar.”

“None of them are to my liking - I like bitter, dark chocolate. Whatever that is,” she says, grimacing, “will be far too sweet for me.”

“Go on,” she teases. “Just to say I've seen you do it!”

“Fine!” Olive huffs, taking the bar from her friend. “Only because it's you!”

For your ask game, I wanted your opinion on something. How do you think the LADS men would propose? I've been thinking about it for a while and this is what I think:

Xavier: I'd imagine he'd want to do it underneath a bright starry sky. Perhaps after an evening picnic in the park or on the apartment patio.

Zayne: I think he would propose in the comfort of your home. You two are just lounging on the couch, reminiscing about your time together, and in mid conversation, he pulls out the ring.

Rafayel: I feel like he would definitely propose on a beach. He'd have a proposal set up in the sand somewhere in the distance, flowers planted in the sand to form a heart. Once you approach it, he would propose in the middle of the heart.

Sylus: He was tricky to figure out NGL. He's a very direct guy, so I'd imagine one day he decides to come over, and you just open your door to find him on one knee with the ring in his hands.

Tell me your headcanons about Crozier and Fitzjames, individually and as a couple.

Wow, yeah, okay.

So, a Fitzjames headcanon first. I am of the very firm opinion that he had kind of...a professional crush on Crozier long before he met him. He admired his competence, his daring, his reputation. He wanted Crozier to LIKE him, to be equally impressed by him. So he did what he does with everyone, and launched into a vainglorious recounting of his own heroic deeds, and was quite stunned when Francis was not only unimpressed but actively disdainful. Fitzjames is so very desperate to be LIKED, to please, and is stymied and offended when his usual patented technique to achieve this fails so epically. Also, I think his favorite dessert is cheesecake.

Crozier, well. Let's see. Favorite dessert is an apple dumpling, EASY. Headcanon is that he's really good at seafaring, but his REAL passion is science. He's got a knack for it, but not only that, he loves it, really. If he had not been who he is, he may have attended university. Become a physicist, or even an anthropologist. He wants his work to be MEANINGFUL. Also he has imagined Fitzjames in a dress quite of his own volition, more than once, and felt expectedly aroused and unexpectedly endeared.

As a couple, gosh, I kind of did some of that already, but okay. Here goes. They are VERY into PDA. It's unfortunate they live in the time they do, because in modern times Fitzjames would sit in Crozier's lap at an outdoor cafe for brunch. As it is, they have to communicate it in the most subtle yet meaningful of touches--Crozier taking James by his elbow to guide him through a crowd. Fitzjames brushing his gloved hand ever so lightly against Francis' thigh at a dinner party.

Ok I have a juicy secret:

One of my best friends is dating a guy who is an absolute asshole who has flirted with both me and my best friend whenever his girlfriend wasn't around.

Ok so we've established the feelings about a buddietommy triad. But! If forced to pick any characters from the show at any point in time who would you put in a triad when and why?

OOH. this is.... a surprisingly hard one. like, the characters on the show that have, to me, the most compellingly polyamorous-feeling dynamic are bobby, athena, and michael, but the sexuality/gender incompatibilities there mean that it's never going to be a proper romantic triad as such. and that's honestly the case for most of the characters who have a really juicy dynamic? that, or they're already in a romantic relationship that i find narratively satisfying, or both.

i think that, had shannon lived, a buck/eddie/shannon triad would be really interesting. i'm not sure that it would have actually worked at all in the short term or the long term - maybe if she and eddie had actually stayed separated for a while and figured out how to operate as friends and coparents first before coming back together as mature adults in something new with buck. or maybe it would have been six sexy bad ideas in a trenchcoat. but i do think it would have been interesting, regardless.

Okay, so I wrote a whole thing, and then my computer crashed, so here's attempt 2!

I'm going to answer this other ask you sent me that I thought I answered then apparently never did (whoops)! It's Felix related!

Ok what do you think would happen if Felix mentored Bobbin! I’ve already said but I need your thoughts.

I think Felix would have a bit of an ableist outlook on Bobbin's chances of survival due to his physical disability on top of him already being one of the smaller tributes, but like with Juno, his tune would change a bit after the ways-to-kill-people-with-a-needle talk. (I think you mentioned at one point you thought Bobbin was exaggerating or just trying to be intimidating with that but yeah, Felix would fall for it).

With Dill, I think there's a lot less personal animosity directed at him because (this is mostly from headcanon but) people have been writing her off for dead due to her illness even before the Reaping. Her bitterness is more at her situation and the way a lot of people are treating her.

With Bobbin, there's a lot more animosity directed towards Felix, and I think he'd probably not do himself any favors in getting Bobbin to like him because he'd get defensive. I don't think Felix would dislike Bobbin as much as Bobbin would dislike him.

When Bobbin dies, Felix probably isn't too surprised because he probably held onto a bit of his doubts of Bobbin's capabilities. If he actually does find it strange that there's no footage to playback for his death, he can easily be convinced that it was shut off because Bobbin died too easily or embarrassingly and it would reflect badly on a Ravinstill or something.

He probably thinks he should have sent Bobbin more food when he was alive, does his interview, and leaves.

He'd (similarly to how I think he'd feel about Dill) feel bad occasionally about the death and at times, there'd be a fleeting (and in his mind) nonsensical and implacable sense of guilt but then he'd brush that aside and continue on with (his probably very short if I have any say in things) life. rip

Anyway, I might have to look for the post with your thoughts lol. I might have missed it!

Guilty pleasures… oh dear.. starting with the tough questions right away 😂 so I don’t believe in guilty pleasures as a good type of thing.. but there are a few things I’m doing that I probably shouldn’t. Let’s go with some of these 😅

So… First, I’m a real sucker for reality tv. I adore all the silly little shows. The trashier it gets the better. And right now there are a few airing that I’m binging before bed and I just love it 😌

Second, I’m usually not really a material girl. But it’s different when it’s about books. I’m totally hoarding books. Like all the books. Books that I’ve been meaning to read for years now and still haven’t. I’m always buying them and I can’t go past those public bookcases without stoping for literal hours and checking if there’s something in there I might even remotely like. And I’m never putting any of my own books into those even when I have double copies 😭

And third… does rewatching hazbin hotel count? I’m saying it counts cause I still have a term paper to finish and I’ll be sitting on my couch rewatching that show over and over instead of doing my research for the last few weeks (is it five weeks? I think it might be five weeks already) 😅 what can I say? I just adore those sinners 😂

sephiroth & i don’t argue often but the few times we have it was not great 😖 i think we clash a lot in how we handle those things but regardless of how it ends, he always gifts me a large bouquet of flowers (something genesis told him to do the first time he truly upset me before we were even dating & it just kinda stuck) & we both say we’re sorry n im probably crying again so he pulls me into his arms & tells me he loves me. we spend the next several hours being rather inseparable, he keeps me in his lap or in his arms & i kiss him sweetly whenever & wherever i get the chance 🩷

i think it takes him a lot of time to say it, despite having felt it for a long while. he’s never really said he’s loved anyone before, not with his words at least & the love he’s felt before has never been like this. i don’t mind though, i know how much he cares for me. when he does say the words, we’re at his place cooking dinner together just enjoying each others company, laughing & talking about our day. he starts to get really quiet after a bit, while im stirring something on the stove, & i ask him if he’s feeling okay but before i can turn around he’s behind me, pulling me into his chest which at that point is a bit unusual, it’s normally me who initiates physical contact like that & it’s the first time he has. he says it then, quiet & soft against my hair & pulls me even closer when i say it back 🥺
